Each year we look forward to recognizing the area’s best in advertising. With over 60,000 entries annually, the ADDY Awards are the world’s largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. The ADDY Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes, and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. Category examples include print collaterals, photography, logo design, radio, TV, outdoor, web and much more. So, select your best work from 2010 and enter the 2010 ADDY Awards!
Mark you calendars for call to entry day, Thursday, January 6, 2011 at DL Media (720 W. Center Circle, Nixa, MO 65714) from 9am – 5pm. The ADDY Awards will take place on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at the University Plaza and Convention Center in Springfield, MO.

2010 SPECIAL AWARDS
Each year the AAF of the Ozarks recognizes the individuals and/or organizations that have made an outstanding contribution to the advertising/marketing industry within our community. We will be accepting nominations for the 2010 special awards listed below until January 7, 2011. Please email your nominations or you may fill out a nomination form at our December luncheon on December 8, 2010.
SILVER MEDALIST
The AAF’s Silver Medal Award Program was established in 1959 to recognize men and women who have made outstanding contributions to advertising and who have been active in furthering the industry’s standard, creative excellence and responsibility in areas of social concern. Annually, AAF member clubs bestow this honor upon outstanding members of the local advertising community. Silver Medalists are selected using the following criteria:
- Contribution to his/her company – the recipient must have achieved success in one of the following areas of work: advertising agency, advertiser, media, or advertising service
- Creative Ability – the recipient must have shown a consistent, high degree of original thinking in his/her field
- Contributions to the General Advancement of Advertising – the recipient must have worked to increase the stature and raise the standards of the advertising profession
- Contributions to the Community – the recipient should be someone who has been active in civic, religious, or other groups dedicated to human or social welfare
AD PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR
This award recognizes an individual who has shown an outstanding contribution to the advertising profession over the past year.
JANE MEYER NON-PROFIT AWARD
This award recognizes non-profit associations that submit advertising materials or campaigns created in-house that are designed to improve the health, education and/or well-being of the community and its citizens.
ANITA LUDWIG AWARD
This award recognizes the advertising agency professional who demonstrates honesty, creativity, and most of all, a passion for great advertising.
HOMER TINDLE AWARD
This award recognize the media sales professional who embodies integrity, dependability and exemplary client service.
